Alvion Cyl Inc. collaborates with Fine Cyl Tec, a specialized processing and inspection facility in Korea, to provide internal polishing and internal nickel plating services for high-pressure gas cylinders to customers overseas.
These processes are designed to enhance cylinder quality for applications such as semiconductor gases, high-purity gases, medical and specialty gases, and industrial gases, where high cleanliness, internal corrosion resistance, and operational stability are critically required.
Residual scale, machining marks, metal particles, and increased surface roughness remaining from the manufacturing process
can lead to reduced gas purity, adsorption of moisture and organic contaminants, and corrosion in high-pressure gas cylinders.
The process begins with primary grinding using abrasive media to remove internal defects, followed by fine polishing and buffing with polishing balls to achieve a uniform, smooth, and high-quality internal surface.
